This abstract image was created through the 2 week Design Immersion Days workshop
hosted by SCI-Arc University. Through this workshop, we explored a large variety of
design techniques, from graphic design to 3D modelling, and even urban design in an
engaging and collaborative environment. The final individual product is composed of
three parts:
The Room as a Surface, The Garden, and The City Block.

THE ROOM AS A SURFACE

Created paper model of room and traced on
shadows.
Added graphic textures in Illustrator on
shadow lines.
Straightened edges and folded up walls in
Rhino.
Added 3D elements based on objects to the
walls in Rhino.
THE GARDEN

Added “wrapped” objects in Illustrator.
Added 3D elements based on other objects, and from an object library in Rhino.
